There are two special events coming up this weekend:
The North
Shore Pride Parade Saturday 23rd start time 12:00. Parade route is
Shetland to Congress St, left to Derby Street and right to Central St.
Central to Front, right to Washington and right to Essex Street. Essex
Street to Washington Sq West into the common. The route will be closed
off to vehicles. There will be significant traffic delays from 11:30 to
1:30.
NSMC Walk Sunday 24th Start time 0830. Walkers should be off
the street by 11:00. Route of walk will start at Salem Willows,
Memorial Drive to Essex St, Right on Washington Sq. East around Common,
Hawthorne Blvd and right on Essex St. Left on Central and straight to
Lafayette St. Right on Forest Ave with a turnaround at SSU. Forest left
on Lafayette St. Right on Derby back down to the Willows. There will be
traffic delays on the route but no closures.
