The City of Salem has declared a Snow Emergency effective Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 3:00 pm until further notice.
All vehicles must be removed from the streets; failure to do so may result in ticketing and towing.

The Snow Emergency Parking Ban will remain in effect until sometime on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Once the ban has been lifted additional traffic and parking restrictions will be in effect. Check back to this site or www.salem.com for details.
Parking will be permitted in the downtown on street metered parking spots until 10:00 pm to accommodate businesses open for the holiday.

To report a power outage or check the status of an outage contact National Grid at 1-800-465-1212 or visit their storm page here. Do not call 9-1-1 to report a power outage unless there is a life threatening emergency.
